What is the NOC code list of Canada?

As a skilled worker, if you are immigrating to Canada for employment, you will at some point have to determine your NOC code in your application. IRCC groups applicants according to their job duties and work by using the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system. Each occupation in the Canadian market is assigned a four-digit code with a job description using this recognized system. After launching a new version of the NOC code list (NOC 2016 version 1.3 to NOC 2021 1.0), the Canadian government will change this system from 4 digits to 5 digits on November 16, 2022. The current NOC 2016 skill type and skill level structure will be replaced with a six-category system (NOC 0, A, B, C, and D).
