There is no official SINP occupation in-demand list. However, the jobs that are included in the SINP express entry and SINP in-demand occupation category must be from NOC O, A, or B (now TEER 0,1,2 and 3). The National Occupation Classification or the NOC is the Canadian system to describe and categorize the occupations and jobs in Canada. Skill level 0 is assigned to Legislative and senior management. Skill Level A (TEER 0 & 1) contains professional occupations with mandatory university education, such as doctors, engineers, etc. Skill level B (TEER 2) refers to technical jobs that only require a college diploma or specific training or apprenticeship. The NOC further divides the occupations in C and D too but the SINP occupation in-demand list only includes the NOC O, A, and B. The applicant must also ensure that he/she is not employed in the SINP-excluded occupational list.

The SINP In-Demand Occupation and the Expression of Interest draw

If you apply for SINP through Express Entry or the SINP Occupation-in-demand category, you would undergo an EOI draw. The Saskatchewan PNP draw or the EOI draw is a process that selects eligible immigrants for ITA or Invitation to Apply for Canada PR. The EOI draw for the SINP in-demand occupation and express entry takes place at least twice a month. There is no prior declaration of the EOI draw. The latest EOI took place on 5th May 2022 with the SINP cut-off of 85 points. In this draw, 106 applicants from the Express Entry and 91 candidates from the occupation in-demand category were invited to apply for Canada PR through SINP. The comprehensive SINP in-demand occupation list presented in this article is based on the NOC codes included in the EOI draw results.
