The government of Canada has issued invitation to apply for permanent residence for 3,350 new Express Entry candidates. The latest draw held on May 29, witnessed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 470.

The previous draw held on May 15, saw candidates in the Federal Skilled Trade class only. The category issued a total of 500 Invitation to Apply (ITAs) to new candidates. Candidates with a minimum CRS score of 470 and have their immigration profile in the Express Entry pool received an ITA.
With the number of ITAs issued on the latest draw, the government of Canada has so far issued a total of 35,100 new ITAs to immigrants for permanent residence.
Canada introduced its Express Entry system in the year 2015, and with its fast processing time and its point system has become one of the most popular immigrating programs. The IRCC looks forward to increase its admission rate in the country and the immigrants can expect a rise in the upcoming draws with much bigger size and more ITAs.
The government of Canada targets to have 81,400 new permanent residences for the year 2019 and witness a rise again the year 2020 and 2021.
