BC and Quebec Issue Invitations in Latest Rounds of Draws

The two provinces of Canada, British Columbia and Quebec, have called for candidates in the latest rounds of provincial nomination draws and to apply for PR respectively. Quebec called for candidates on 21 March, whereas, British Columbia on 26 March 2024.

BC PNP Latest Draw

British Columbia conducted its latest draw on 26 March, inviting more than 126 candidates to apply for its PNP. 

The types of draws conducted in the latest rounds were:

  • Tech- 47 invitations to apply were issued to those scoring at least 114 points 
  • Healthcare- 30 candidates invited, scoring a minimum of 85 points 
  • Childcare- 28 ITAs issued to candidates with at least 85 points
  • Veterinary Care- less than 5 ITAs for those scoring either 85 points or higher
  • Construction- 21 invitations issued to candidates with a minimum of 90 points 

Invited candidates can apply for BC PNP through the Skilled Worker and International Graduates (including the EEBC option) streams.

Quebec Latest Draw

The Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration invited 1,357 candidates in its latest draw. Candidates are invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). 

Quebec had invited these candidates on 21st March 2024. These candidates had a minimum score of 596 points, a job offer (outside the Metropolitan Community of Montreal), and at least level 7 of oral French proficiency
