This implies that Express Entry profiles will only receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) if their CRS score is greater than or equal to 546 points. The latest round of invitations issued 1510 ITAs to apply for Canada PR through Express Entry. Since it was a general draw, invited Express Entry profiles were eligible for:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Provincial Nominees

The CRS cut-off throughout the general draws is graphically represented in the image below. The highest CRS cut-off for general rounds of invitations was 561 points while the lowest cut-off was 496 points.
The image above represents the ITAs issued in the general draws in 2023. The lowest ITAs issued were 700 while the highest number of applicants invited to apply were 4750.
While the general Express Entry draws seem relatively competitive, category-based selections have a significantly lower CRS cut-off.
