The 293rd Express Entry draw was a category-based selection exclusively for STEM occupations. It is the third draw for the STEM category since the launch of the category Express Entry draws. The CRS score cut-off was 10 points higher than the previous STEM draw. At the same time, there was a drop in ITAs by 500 invitations. Till now, Canada has invited 10,900 Express Entry profiles to apply for Canada PR through Express Entry. All the STEM draws are listed in the table below.

Eligibility factors for #293 Express Entry Draw

The applicants who received an Invitation to Apply in the latest Express Entry draw met the following criteria.

Have an active and updated Express Entry profile in the pool.

They were eligible for at least one of the three Express Entry programs:
Have at least 6 months of full-time and continuous work experience within the last 3 years in one of the 24 STEM occupations.
They were among the top 4500 profiles in the Express Entry pool
Their CRS score was at least 491 or higher.

Steps after an Invitation to Apply

If you received an Invitation to Apply in the latest Express Entry Draw #293, you must apply for Canada PR within 60 days. You must:

Upload all documents to support your CRS score.
Pay the PR application fee
Complete biometrics
Apply for Canada PR through Express Entry
