The latest Express Entry draw invites candidates from all programs. The draw conducted on 1st August, 2023, is not program specified, and hence candidates from all programs of Express Entry receive a chance to get Canada PR. This was the 259th draw.

The first draw of August is here and IRCC is already inviting 2,000 eligible candidates for PR. These candidates had a CRS score of either 517 or higher than that to be eligible for this draw. Moreover, the candidates belonged to these programs – Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class, and Provincial Nominee Program.
Analysis of Previous Round
Compared to the previous draw, IRCC conducted it on 12 July, where it gave an opportunity to 3,800 French speaking skilled workers to get Canada PR. However, this time only 2,000 were invited, though from all programs of Express Entry.
As seen in the previous draws, the CRS score has been comparatively lower. However, this was not the case this time. The CRS has not been this high since 10 May, 2023. Also, in July, we saw a high number of invitations being issued. This was because the Express Entry draws won’t stop coming!
In July alone, IRCC conducted a total of 6 draws, where it invited 9,600 candidates!
