What is an Ireland Study Visa?

An Ireland Study Visa (Type D) is required for non-EEA nationals who wish to pursue a full-time education program in Ireland lasting longer than 90 days. It is issued by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS), and all international students must have a confirmed offer from an Irish educational institution listed on the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP).

A valid Ireland study visa allows you to study, live, and legally work part-time in Ireland during your academic stay.
