What is a Spain Study Visa?
A Spain Study Visa is a long-stay visa (Type D) issued to non-EU/EEA/Swiss nationals who intend to pursue full-time education in Spain for more than 90 days. The visa allows you to enter Spain and must be converted into a student residence card (TIE) after arrival. The visa is granted by the Consulate General of Spain in your country, and the corresponding residence permit is handled by the Oficina de Extranjería (Immigration Office) in Spain.
This visa is mandatory for university programs, language courses, and vocational training lasting over three months.
