33 candidates invited in the latest Arrima draw in Quebec on November 11

“Details of an Arrima draw held on November 11 were provided by the Quebec Ministry of Immigration.”

On November 11, Quebec invited 33 immigration candidates to apply for permanent selection.

The Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) is holding its first round of invitations this month.

Candidates who got invitations to apply for permanent selection from the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) had to have registered in the Arrima pool and submitted an expression of interest (EI).

Candidates having a legitimate work offer outside of the Montréal Metropolitan region, as well as diplomats, consular officials, United Nations representatives, and representatives of any intergovernmental organization functioning in the province, were invited to apply on November 11.

The most recent draw is Quebec’s 12th of the year and the province’s second smallest so far in 2021. Most draws in the second half of the year invited over 500 immigration aspirants. Through Arrima, the province has invited a total of 3,256 applicants to apply for permanent selection.

What is the Quebec Regular Skilled worker program ?

The Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program is designed for skilled workers who are more likely to become economically established in the province. The programme is popular with qualified professionals and international graduates who want to work in Quebec permanently.

Candidates who have been asked to apply for permanent selection have 60 days to complete their applications and pay processing fees. Quebec expects to process complete applications in six months, beginning with the receipt of all essential paperwork. All forms and documents are included in this category.

Candidates will receive a Certificat de sélection du Québec if they are successful (CSQ or Quebec Selection Certificate). They can then use this certificate to apply to the Canadian federal government for permanent residence.

Applicants who desire to settle in Quebec are evaluated using a different approach than those who wish to settle elsewhere in Canada. Quebec’s immigration policies are separate from those run by the federal government of Canada.

Quebec admission targets for 2022

Quebec’s immigrant admittance targets for 2022 were just revealed. The province’s economic immigration initiatives, such as the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) and the Québec Experience Program, are expected to attract the majority of entrants (PEQ).

In 2022, the plan plans for the admission of 49,500 to 52,500 immigrants across all immigration categories, plus an additional 18,000 admissions to meet the federal government’s 2020 admission levels, which were not met owing to the COVID-19 epidemic. This means that in 2022, the province of Quebec might welcome more than 70,000 newcomers.
