528 Immigration candidates invited in the latest Saskatchewan PNP draw

“Under the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories, 528 immigrants were invited to apply for a Saskatchewan provincial nomination.”

On September 8, Saskatchewan issued a second round of invitations.

528 people were invited to apply for one of two immigration programmes through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). 316 people may be qualified for the SINP’s Express Entry subcategory, whereas 212 may be eligible for the Occupations In-Demand subcategory.

Each sub-lowest-scoring category’s candidate received 66 points. The Expression of Interest (EOI) ranking system in Saskatchewan. There were 16 occupations eligible for each category in this draw. On Saskatchewan’s government website, you can find a complete list of eligible occupations.

Educational Credential Assessments were also required for both groups to show that their foreign education was comparable to the Canadian standard.

Saskatchewan’s Express Entry Sub-Category

The enhanced Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the Express Entry sub-category is linked to the federal Express Entry system.

Express Entry is in charge of the candidate pool for three of Canada’s most popular economic immigration programmes: the Federal Skilled Worker ProgramFederal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.

In order to be considered for an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination, candidates with Express Entry profiles must also create EOI profiles for Saskatchewan.

Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan are given an extra 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System. This award effectively ensures that they will be able to apply for a Canada PR.

Occupations In-Demand Sub-Category

The Occupations In-Demand sub-category is a base PNP, which means it is open to immigrants without an Express Entry profile.

This sub-category is for highly skilled workers with experience in a Saskatchewan-demanded occupation who have not yet been offered a job in the province.

Foreign nationals must create an EOI profile through the SINP’s online application system in order to apply for Canadian immigration through this sub-category.

The EOI system in Saskatchewan allows the province to choose immigrants who have the potential to thrive in the prairie province. Candidates will be judged on their ability to settle in Saskatchewan based on their work experience, education, language skills, age, and ties to the province.
