The latest Express Entry draw issued Invitation to Apply (ITA), to 3,600 new Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence. The cut-off score was recorded as 459, which is one point lower than the previous draw held on July 10.
All candidates with a CRS score of 459 or above, and have their profiles in the Express Entry pool will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. This is the second consecutive time that the Canadian government has invited 3,600 candidates for permanent residency.
The low Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is fairly good news for candidates looking forward to settle in Canada. There is also an increase of 250 ITAs in the total 10 Express Entry draws held between January 30 and June 26 in which it consists of 3,350 ITAs in each one of them.
There are currently 3 major streams in the Express Entry system that is offered by the Canadian government.
– Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP): skilled workers with admissible age, education qualification, language skills, and work experience.
– Federal Skilled Trade Program (FSTP): semi-skilled or unskilled workers with basic education, language skills, and work experience.
– Canadian Experience Class (CEC): individuals having previous experience in Canada.
Candidates are ranked based on a score which they are awarded under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score which features aspects such as age, education, and work experience and language proficiency.
The latest draw continues to decrease, and seemed to have set a trend for low-cut off score. This opens up a flood of opportunities for applicants willing to move to Canada which hence makes the country, a perfect choice for immigration.
