Toronto is now among the three urban communities in both the United States and Canada for IT jobs, as suggested by a new report.
The city privately known as “The Six” came in number three on CBRE’s Scoring Tech Talent Report, which positions 50 U.S. plus Canadian tech jobs on 13 judging factors including supply of workers, IT degrees, and occupation prospects, etc.
Toronto put third in front of Washington, D.C., New York City and Austin, Tex., in the general rankings. It was additionally named the top city by and large regarding “mind gain,” including 80,100 tech occupations since 2013. “Toronto’s pool of tech workers developed at the quickest pace of each of the 50 markets estimated, including an eye-popping 80,100 tech occupations in the previous five years, a 54 per cent expansion,” the report says.

Other Canadian urban communities also performed well — Vancouver went up 13 spots to twelfth spot, which CBRE said was the best year-over-year improvement of any North American city. Montreal came in at 13 and Canada’s national capital, Ottawa, took the nineteenth spot.
