Latest Invitations Issued by Manitoba and British Columbia PNP Draws

In the latest provincial nominee draws, the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and British Columbia have issued over 400 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. British Columbia held its weekly PNP draw as usual on Tuesday, 23rd April, 2024. On the other hand, Manitoba held a surprising second draw this month. Since the start of this year, it’s only been the second time that there were two MPNP draws in a single month. It first happened in the month of January.

MPNP Latest Draw – 24 April 2024

The latest draw invited candidates to apply to the following streams for a provincial nomination:

203 candidates have received letters of advice to apply (LAA) to the Skilled Worker in Manitoba. The lowest-ranking candidate had a score of 811 EOI points. The candidates invited to apply under this stream were chosen if either they or their spouse had completed post-secondary education in the province. 

Some profiles declared that they were invited by the Manitoba government under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative and hence, received an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination. 58 such candidates were invited to apply for this stream, if they had a score of at least 644 points. 

66 letters of advice to apply were also sent to candidates to apply to the International Education Stream. These candidates must have had a minimum of 4 years of experience out of the previous 5 years. 

BC PNP Latest Draw – 23 April 2024

British Columbia invited more than 86 candidates in the latest Skills Immigration draw:

  • 45 candidates were invited to apply for the tech category. The lowest-scoring candidate had a score of 120 points. 
  • For the healthcare category, 19 candidates were invited if they had a score of 100 or more points. 
  • The number of invitations sent to candidates for the construction and childcare category were the same, 11. The minimum scores were 92 and 95 respectively. 
  • Lastly, less than 5 invites were sent to apply to the veterinary care category.
