I. SINP points for Labour Market Success (maximum points = 80)

SINP or the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program nominates eligible foreign workers who will contribute to the province financially, culturally, and socially. Through the scoring assessment grid, the SINP ensures that the nominated skilled workers will be successful and profitable employees. The labor market success factors include education proficiency, work experience, age, and language proficiency. The points breakdown for each is tabulated below.

SINP score for Language Proficiency (Maximum points = 20)

Being proficient in either English or French is extremely important to be able to settle and thrive in Canada. To get points for language proficiency, you must take tests. SINP or Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program accepts CELPIP or IELTS for English, and TEF and TCF for French. Your language proficiency test must not be older than 2 years.

SINP points for applicants Age (maximum points = 12)

Once you create your profile in the SINP OASIS, you will need to provide information according to which you will gain points by the Saskatchewan points calculator. To gain points, upload updated and valid documents with your SINP application.

To be eligible for any one of the SINP International Skilled Worker pathways, you must score at least 60 points. If you are unable to score the minimum points, the application will not be processed.

In the case of ISW Occupations in-Demand and Express Entry category, the SINP draws are announced twice a month. They issue an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to applicants with an EOI score equal to or greater than the cut-off.

Once you get an ITA, you must submit a complete SINP application along with a non-refundable processing fee of $350 Canadian Dollars within 60 days or 2 months. 

After you become a provincial nominee, you can apply to the IRCC for Canada PR within 6 months or 180 days.
