British Columbia PNP Draws- 22 August

The British Columbia PNP draws invited candidates from five separate streams and various occupations. There were both general as well targeted draws inviting crucial workers from abroad to work and settle down in British Columbia.
The general round, which also included tech occupations, sent out 169 invitations. The streams and the minimum score considered respectively are mentioned below:-
- Skilled Worker: 106
- Skilled Worker (EEBC option): 106
- International Graduate: 109
- International Graduate (EEBC option): 109
- Entry Level and Semi-Skilled: 88
Three other rounds of draw conducted were targeted. All of these invited candidates from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate (EEBC option) streams. Moreover their minimum score, which was 60, remained the same too.
- 33 candidates were invited for the child care occupations.
- 23 invites sent to workers in the healthcare occupations.
- Less than 5 invitations were for Other Priority Occupations (NOC-31103 and 32104)

Alberta PNP Draws
Recently, Alberta updated the draws that it conducted since last week. There have been three draws since the last update, held on 15, 16, and 22 August. Let’s discuss each of them one by one below.
Alberta Draws- 15 August
The draw conducted on 15 August sent out 14 invitations to workers scoring either 326 or above. These workers belonged to the stream of Dedicated Healthcare Pathway. Apart from having a CRS score of 326 or above, they also needed to have a job offer from an employer in Alberta.
Alberta Draws- 16 August
On 16 August, 2023, Alberta issued 300 invitations to candidates with a CRS score of 408 or above. These candidates were from the Tourism and Hospitality Occupations, with a job offer too.
Alberta Draws- 22 August
These are the latest Alberta PNP draws, conducted on 22 August, 2023. It issued 89 invitations to workers from the Construction occupation with an Alberta job offer. These candidates either had a CRS score of 303 or above that.
