These British Columbia Draws news came out on 30th May, 2023, where we came to know that the province invited around 196 candidates. Candidates from both categories, general as well targeted, received invitations.

CRS Cut-off: General-> 85 Targeted-> 60

General Draw- Information in Brief 

As you can see from the images above, a total of 151 candidates received invitations in the general draws. If you applied in the tech occupations too, you might have received an ITA too, as workers from tech occupations are invited too. 

The lowest ranking candidate had a CRS score of 85 points only from this category. 

Stream of candidates invited are- Skilled Workers, International Graduates, and Entry level as well as Semi-Skilled Workers. 

CRS cut-offs according to each steam:- 

  • Skilled Workers- 104
  • International Graduates- 107
  • Entry level and Semi-Skilled Workers- 85

Targeted Draw- Info in Brief

This time the British Columbia draws targeted workers in Childcare, Healthcare, and Other Priority Occupations. 

The CRS cut-off of each targeted draw has been the same as 60. 

Candidates are called from different streams and NOC codes. Take a look below to see them:- 

  • Childcare:-
    Under this category, early childhood educators and assistants (NOC Code- 42202) are invited. A total of 26 invitations are sent out, and skilled workers and international graduates can apply for permanent residency. 
  • Healthcare:- 
    14 invitations for candidates who applied for British Columbia draws under this category. Similarly like that of Childcare, both Skilled Workers and International Graduates are eligible to apply for permanent residency. 
  • Other Priority Occupations:-
    Less than 5 invitations to apply for permanent residency are sent to candidates with NOC Codes- 31103- Veterinarians, and 32104- Animal health technologists and veterinary technicians. Just like the above two categories, CRS cut-off is only 60, and candidates from the streams of Skilled Workers and International Graduates are eligible for PR.
