Canada Spouse Visa Requirements
The requirements for sponsors are provided below:

| Aged at least 18 years | Not reached the age of 18 years |
| Can provide basic necessities to sponsee | Not financially capable of supporting the sponsee |
| Proved that you aren’t receiving any kind of social assistance (except for a disability) | You are a temporary resident or your PR application is still under process |
| Sign the undertaking and commit to it | You gained PR less than 5 years ago by being sponsored by a spouse or common-law partner |
| You are still financially supporting the spouse or partner you sponsored before |
Spouse Visa Requirements for Sponsee
The requirements for a spouse visa will differ on the basis of who you are sponsoring. These are the requirements:
