Healthcare Industry: Job Availability

The healthcare industry accounts for the highest number of jobs available. The sector is looking for more workers for all sorts of work available, and Canadian employees are not enough. Hence, Canada is heavily depending on immigration to fulfill the labor requirements in the industry.

Many times, foreign born healthcare professionals find it difficult to immigrate to Canada and practice their profession. This is why, IRCC is working towards finding a way to make it easier for foreign born surgeons, physicians and other professionals to get accreditation.

If we take a look at the data from 2022 alone, the fourth quarter of the year, there were 143,690+ jobs available in this sector. No other work sector had as many job vacancies open as that of the healthcare sector.
