On September 23, Manitoba asked 650 immigrant applicants to file for a provincial nomination.
Candidates who have been invited to submit for a nomination through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program can now do so (MPNP). They will be able to apply as Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates if they receive the nomination, which will support their ultimate application for Canadian permanent residence.
The following are the results of the most recent draw:
a. Skilled Workers in Manitoba — 529 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 401;
b. Skilled Workers Overseas — 67 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 718; and
c. International Education Stream — 54 invitations with no EOI score requirement.
Express Entry hopefuls received a total of 135 invitations, also known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs).

The Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program all use Express Entry as a management system for permanent residency applications for three federal high-skilled immigration programmes: the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program.
By applying immediately through Express Entry, it is possible to bypass the PNP process and receive a permanent residency invitation. Given the 600-point prize, however, having a provincial nomination effectively ensures that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will ask you to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

Through regular Express Entry lotteries, the highest-scoring individuals are invited to apply for permanent residency.
