Latest Express Entry Category-based draw Invites STEM worker

The first ever and the latest Express Entry category-based draw is out now! It has invited a total of 500 STEM workers whose CRS score was 486 or higher than that. 

The IRCC Minister made an announcement last week regarding these draws and mentioned that the first round of category based selection will occur this week. And here we are! 

When a candidate receives an invitation from these draws, they get an opportunity to apply for permanent residence in Canada. If someone is simply going to Canada for work purposes for a short period of time, they apply for a Canadian work visa .

Eligibility Requirements 

According to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the STEM industry of Canada is experiencing a serious labor gap due to the high rate of retirement and upcoming technology being introduced. 

As of now, there are around 56,915 job vacancies available in Canada in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics sector. Moreover, STEM workers get paid nicely.
