Ontario and Quebec Issues ITAs in Latest Draws

In the latest rounds of draws, the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec have issued invitations to about 1,200 candidates. Quebec Regular Skilled Worker draw alone invited 1,036 to apply for permanent residency to IRCC, while Ontario held two rounds, one for candidates to apply to the Employer Job Offer Foreign Worker stream and the other to Employer Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP).

Latest OINP Draws

As mentioned, there were two rounds of OINP draws conducted on 23 April, 2024. Both the rounds were targeted draws, and on overall basis, they invited 211 candidates to apply for provincial nomination

02 candidates were invited to apply to the Employer Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP).

209 candidates received invitations to apply to the Employer Job Offer Foreign Worker stream. These ITAs were issued to candidates in the Skilled Trades Occupations. They also needed to score at least 53 points or above and if they had a job offer in any one of the following NOCs:

  • NOC 22212 – Drafting technologists and technicians
  • NOC 22301 – Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians
  • NOC 22302 – Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians
  • NOC 22311 – Electronic service technicians (household and business equipment)
  • NOC 22312 – Industrial instrument technicians and mechanics
  • NOC 70010 – Construction managers
  • NOC 70011 – Home building and renovation managers
  • NOC 70012 – Facility operation and maintenance managers
  • NOC 72010 – Contractors and supervisors, machining, metal forming, shaping and erecting trades and related occupations
  • NOC 72011 – Contractors and supervisors, electrical trades and telecommunications occupations
  • NOC 72012 – Contractors and supervisors, pipefitting trades

Latest Quebec Permanent Selection Draw – 11 Apr 2024

In the latest Quebec draw, a total of 1,036 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Moreover, these candidates needed a job offer from outside the Metropolitan Community of Montreal. 

Candidates were invited if they had a score of at least 536 points, and at least NCLC level 7 in French language proficiency:
