The 9th all program Express Entry draw has taken place, inviting 4750, with the CRS cut-off at 496 points. The CRS cut-off has decreased by 4 points. This is the first time since 6th July, 2022 that the CRS cut-off has dipped lower than the 500 mark. It is a hopeful news for aspiring immigrants as the cut-off is expected to drop further in the upcoming draws. The number of Invitations to Apply or ITAs have also increased by 500.
Just like the previous 8 Express Entry draws, the 234th draw was an all program draw. An all program draw issues ITAs for all the four Express Entry pathways:
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
Once you have received your Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the Express Entry draw, you will have 60 days to apply for Canada PR to the IRCC. Receiving an ITA does not guarantee a PR visa. You must follow the steps below after being invited to apply for Canada’s Permanent residence.
Step 1: Collect all the required documents in order to substantiate your CRS score. These include your language proficiency test results, ECA report, job-offer, etc. This is one of the most crucial steps in your Canada immigration journey. Submitting complete and accurate paperwork will make the process faster. An authorized immigration representative ascertains that all your documentation is complete, accurate and updated. They also suggest legal alternatives to any missing or unavailable documents.
Step 2: Scan and upload your documents in acceptable formats such as doc, jpg, pdf, png, tiff, etc.
Step 3: Pay your fee. Once you have uploaded all your documents, you will be required to pay the processing fee, Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) and biometrics fee.
Step 4: Submit your completed application. Once your PR application is reviewed and approved, you will receive the CoPR or Confirmation of Permanent Residence
