507 Invitations for Permanent Residency: Manitoba PNP

507 Invitations for Permanent Residency: Manitoba PNP

This is the 176th Manitoba PNP draws and in it, we can see that a total number of 507 applicants received invitations to apply for the permanent residency of the province. If we compare this time’s invitations with that of the previous ones, the Manitoba PNP Draws that came out on 6th April, we can see that the number of invitations has decreased. Anyways, we are grateful that the draws are released once again since people would have a chance to go to Canada and live there. Why don’t we discuss this further below?

Manitoba Draws- 20th April

The draws are specifically for skilled workers in Manitoba. The workers are divided in different categories. These categories are:- occupation-specific selection, all occupations, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas.

Occupation Specific Selection

Did you know that under the Occupation Specific Selection, the province has considered those employees that applied in certain occupations. Now, these occupations are right now in high demand in Manitoba, as observed by Statistics Canada. Hence, Canada decided to call for such occupational workers who are currently in need in the province.

249 Letters of Advice to apply for the permanent residency of Manitoba are sent out. Out of these letters, the candidate who had the lowest CRS ranking was 615. Thus, if you had a greater or the same ranking as them, and you applied in this category, then we are sure you must have received your invitation.

Moreover, National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes 63 and 64 were also considered in this draw. So, if you applied under these NOC codes, then you also have a chance to apply for PR. Those NOC codes are for:

  • 63- Occupations in sales and services
  • 64 – Sales and service representatives and other customer and personal services occupations
All Occupations

Under the All Occupations category, 194 candidates were considered. Do you know how these candidates are selected? These are the ones that were previously not selected in occupation specific selection. The minimum score of this category is higher than the last one, which is 651.

International Education Stream

The candidates who submitted their applications under this category, must have met the International Education Stream eligibility criterias, otherwise, of course, they would not have had a chance to apply. Wanna know how many candidates were invited? 38! Furthermore, there’s no minimum score. All the candidates had to do was meet the eligibility requirements. As for the Skilled Workers Overseas category, let’s check it out below!

Skilled Workers Overseas

Manitoba considered those profiles here that proved that they were directly invited by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued were 26. However, the lowest score was 719. So, if a candidate who applied under this category had a similar or higher CRS score, then they must have received an invitation.

Lastly, out of all the 507 invitations, 91 invitations alone are for those candidates, who held a valid Express Entry profile number, and proved they had valid job seeker validation code.
