Next Express Entry Draw

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is commonly used to conduct Express Entry draws every two weeks, mostly on Wednesdays. So, the next Express Entry draw, that is the 267th Express Entry draw, may happen on 11th October, 2023.

However, despite what the IRCC aims, since July, we can see that the draws have been too frequent. From 4th July to 7th July, IRCC conducted consecutive draws, one after the other, and it made many exclaim, “The draw just won’t stop coming!”

In those 4 draws alone, IRCC invited 5,000 candidates for Canada PR. But this isn’t the end! Further, still in July, IRCC conducted 2 more draws, on 11 and 12 July. These two draws totaled the number of immigrants invited in July to 9,600!

Similarly, in August as well, IRCC conducted 4 draws, three consecutive and one otherwise. These four Express Entry draws sent out 8,600 invitations to apply for Canada permanent residency to eligible candidates in different occupations.

All in all, though, we cannot say for sure whether the next Express Entry draw will be out in two weeks, on Wednesdays, or not. But we can still predict the upcoming draw on the basis of past draws. The draws that actually came out on two week intervals, on Wednesdays mostly.
