Express Entry Draw #292: General Draw Invites 1280 Applicants

IRCC announced the 292nd round of invitations on Wednesday 10th April, 2024. The #292 Express Entry draw was the first in April.

The #292 Express Entry draw was a general or all-program draw. An all-program draw invites Express Entry profiles from all three Express Entry pathways:

• Canadian Experience Class or CEC – Federal program for skilled workers with valid Canadian Experience.
• Federal Skilled Worker Program or FSWP– Express Entry pathway for highly skilled workers with eligible foreign work experience.
• Federal Skilled Trades Program or FSTP– Immigration program for foreign workers skilled in trade occupations 

Additionally, provincial nominees with valid Express Entry profiles in the pool were also invited to apply in the latest Express Entry draw.

Eligibility factors of the latest round of invitations

To be eligible for the #292 Express Entry draw the applicants must:

• Have an active and updated Express Entry profile in the pool
• Score at least 549 CRS points or more in the Comprehensive Ranking System.
• Must be among the top 1280 in the Express Entry pool
• Meet eligibility criteria for at least one of the immigration programs managed by the Express Entry system

Previous General Express Entry draws

The CRS score cut-off for the latest draw was 25 points higher than the previous all-program draw. The ITAs issued for the #292 Express Entry draw were 700 less than the previous draw. A complete list of general draws in 2024 is given below.
