British Columbia and Nova Scotia Invites Candidates in Latest Draw

The latest PNP draw was held by Nova Scotia on 28th August. It was a pharmacist (NOC code 31120) and pharmacy technician (NOC code 32124) draw. Invited candidates received a letter of interest in their Express Entry profile. 

The candidates who have received a letter of interest, can visit the official website of NSNP and fill out a survey form to express their interest in working in the province. The candidate may receive a conditional job offer to further apply to NSNP or Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

Invited candidates can apply to the Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot stream of Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). Though the invited candidates are not eligible to receive additional 600 CRS points, they will become eligible to apply for permanent residency through non-Express Entry pathway.

British Columbia Latest Draw – 27 August 2024

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) latest draw was held on 27th August. This round of draw invited more than 158 candidates to apply to the following streams:

  • Skilled Worker (includes Express Entry British Columbia option)
  • International Graduate (includes Express Entry British Columbia option)

Five targeted rounds of BC PNP draw were held for the following priority occupations:

  • 69 candidates invited for the Tech category, if they had a score of 118 points
  • 40 Invitations to Apply issued to candidates to apply to the Childcare category, the minimum score required was 83 points
  • 31 candidates invited for the Construction category, 88 was the minimum points considered
  • For the healthcare occupations, 18 candidates were invited who had a score of at least 99 points. 
  • Less than 5 candidates were invited for the veterinary care category, if they had a score of at least 80 points.
