Provinces across Canada invites 3,300+ people in latest PNP draw

In the latest PNP draws, we can see Ontario and British Columbia issuing nominations and one province that finally joined the race was Quebec. Though Quebec does not hold PNP draws, it does invite candidates through its Regular Skilled Worker Program to apply for Canada PR. Let’s learn more about the draw results below. 

Quebec First Draw of 2024

Quebec has finally conducted its first ever draw of 2024 and it was on 24th January. The draw issued invitations to 1,007 candidates who met the requirements. 

The requirements included having at least level 7 French proficiency and a valid job offer outside the Metropolitan Community of Montreal. Moreover, they either had 615 points or above and their occupation had to be included in the following list.

  • 2131 – Civil engineers
  • 2132 – Mechanical engineers
  • 2133 – Electrical and electronics engineers
  • 2141 – Industrial and manufacturing engineers
  • 2143 – Mining engineers
  • 2147 – Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
  • 2171 – Information systems analysts and consultants
  • 2172 – Database analysts and data administrators
  • 2173 – Software engineers and designers
  • 2174 – Computer programmers and interactive media developers
  • 2175 – Web designers and developers
  • 2231 – Civil engineering technologists and technicians
  • 2232 – Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians
  • 2233 – Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians
  • 2241 – Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians
  • 2281 – Computer network technicians
  • 2282 – User support technicians
  • 2283 – Information systems testing technicians
  • 3012 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
  • 3233 – Licensed practical nurses
  • 3413 – Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
  • 4031 – Secondary school teachers
  • 4032 – Elementary school and kindergarten teachers
  • 4214 – Early childhood educators and assistants
  • 5223 – Graphic arts technicians
  • 5225 – Audio and video recording technicians
  • 5241 – Graphic designers and illustrators

British Columbia PNP Draw – 6 Feb 2024

British Columbia held its latest PNP draw and invited more than 213 candidates. The invitations were sent for candidates under the Health, Construction, Childcare occupations, and Veterinary care as well as for the General category. 

The minimum score set for these rounds of the draw of BC PNP was the same as the previous one which is 60 points.

    OINP Draw – 6 Feb 2024

    Ontario conducted another PNP draw on 6th February in which it nominated 2,086 candidates. The nominations were sent through the Human Capital Priorities stream for candidates in the Health occupations

    The CRS score range considered in this draw was 379-430 points. Further, candidates also need work experience under one of the following NOCs and that must be listed as their primary NOC in their EE profile

    • NOC 31100 – Specialists in clinical and laboratory medicine
    • NOC 31101 – Specialists in surgery
    • NOC 31102 – General practitioners and family physicians
    • NOC 31103 – Veterinarians
