The career growth of aircraft inspectors and aircraft mechanics looks good for the time period of 2022-2024 in Canada. Need of Aircraft Mechanics and Aircraft Inspectors in Canada

If you take a look at the data provided by Job Bank, you would find that there’s a growing demand for aircraft inspectors and aircraft mechanics in Yukon and other parts of Canada such as British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, and Newfoundland and Labrador. However, the conditions of finding a job under this occupation in Yukon would be much easier.

There are many factors that contribute to this expectation of job growth. Such as more job opportunities arising from retirement, employment growth making more jobs available. And, because of the pandemic, this industry was one of the severely impacted ones. So, this is the time to heal the past wounds and hence, this occupation is trying to recover. But then again, it mainly depends on the passenger demand and how public health restrictions remain. 

Canada Inviting Candidates Based on their Occupations

This basically means that the government is currently focusing on inviting skilled workers from certain occupations. Those occupations that are in need of workers.

The new Express Entry Category-based draws are set to invite candidates based on the market needs of the workers belonging to that category. In relation to that, candidates belonging to NOC code 2173 , for instance, would be especially targeted as they come in the STEM occupations. 

And STEM is one of the targeted occupations. Similarly, aircraft mechanics and aircraft inspectors are also one of the targeted occupations and candidates belonging to those occupations will likely receive invitation for Canada PR soon. 

Average Income of Workers in this Occupation

On an average, a worker in the aircraft mechanic and aircraft inspection occupation could earn up to $37 in an hour. The lower end of the hourly wage scale could tip to $19 while the upper end could even be $47.18. 

And if you calculate these numbers based on 37.5 hours per week, the upper end of the yearly wage could be $92,000. Not bad, right?
