Latest OINP & MPNP Draws: Over 4,800 Candidates Receive ITAs

In the latest OINP and MPNP draws a total of 4,800 candidates either received an invitation to apply for permanent residency or a provincial nomination. Details of the draws are available in the news. 

Latest MPNP Draws – 8 February 2024

Manitoba invited 282 candidates in the latest Expression of Interest round of draws. The draws issued invitations from the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, and the International Education stream. The overall lowest-ranking candidate who received an invitation scored 619 points. 

  • Skilled Worker in Manitoba (Close Relative in Manitoba selection)- 151 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued, 619 lowest rank considered
  • Skilled Worker Overseas- 48 LAAs issued, 713 lowest score considered 
  • International Education Stream- 82 LAAs issued

Latest OINP Draws – 8 February 2024

There were three rounds of the latest OINP draws. One of them issued Notifications of Interest and the other two issued invitations to apply in the Expression of Pool for candidates who are interested in doing so. 

The streams that issued notifications and invitations this time were:

Human Capital Priorities Stream Draw

A total of 2,118 notifications of interest (NOIs) were issued through this draw. The CRS score for this draw was 471-480 points. These NOIs were for the candidates in the Express Entry pool and their work experience was in the following NOC codes.

  •  NOC 21211 – Data Scientists
  •  NOC 21220 – Cybersecurity specialists
  •  NOC 21221 – Business systems specialists
  •  NOC 21222 – Information systems specialists

Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream Draw

Under the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream, candidates from general, tech, and health occupations received invitations to apply for PR. 

1,182 candidates scoring either 78 scores or above received an invitation through the General draw. 

1,252 candidates scoring 73 points or above received ITAs under the Health and Tech occupations. Candidates needed a job offer under one of the following NOC codes.
